The Vine strikes gold

Falmouth-based PR and marketing agency The Vine has won gold at the 2012 West of England Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards.

The Vine took the award in the Integrated Communications category, for its Ignite 2012 campaign on behalf of client Oxford Innovation.

The campaign focused on promoting the Ignite business planning competition throughout the south west through a variety of channels including public relations, marketing and advertising.

The Vine MD, Lotte Mahon, said: “The Ignite project allowed us to deliver a truly integrated campaign with The Vine handling everything from PR and marketing to briefing designers and advertising planning.

“We have always felt that an integrated approach delivers the best results for our clients so to win this category in particular has made us very proud.”

St Wenn-based Barefoot Media took silver in the Consumer Relations category for its Lambing Live campaign on behalf of Cornish farm stay holiday company The Olde House.
