Engineer or Technician is required to support production by conducting tool trials, designing and optimising process conditions and troubleshooting quality and productivity concerns.
The role will include Inspection Reporting, Calibration of measuring equipment, MSA studies, Capability studies, Using customer bespoke computerised quality systems for recording of First Article Inspection and Submission.
The successful candidate will have relevant technical qualifications, formal training in thermoplastic processing.
You will be a practical engineer who has extensive experience in machine setting and be able to work on your own initiative.
Candidates with any of the following would be preferred:
Knowledge of process optimisation techniques, knowledge of DoE or Taguchi Methods and experience of formal quality improvements such as 8D, Six Sigma, etc.
The role will require the successful candidate to work the following patterns;
6.00am-2.00pm/2.00pm- 10.00pm, Monday to Friday.
