Cornwall is a pioneer in the renewable energy sector, with the UK’s first-ever commercial wind and solar farms being established in Cornwall, while plans are well advanced for the first commercial geothermal plant. And then there’s the exciting developments taking place off the Hayle coast with Wave Hub.
The next issue of Business Cornwall will investigate these and other green initiatives and how the low carbon agenda is impacting on local businesses. We will also feature the results of a survey we are conducting with Bishop Fleming on how the rising cost of energy is affecting businesses.
