Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall is to visit the Royal Cornwall Show on the opening day (Thursday, June 7).
The news has been greeted by the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association (RCAA) chairman, Jonathan Coode, “with great pleasure”.
He said: “In this Jubilee year, we know that members of our Royal Family have extremely busy schedules so it is a great honour that The Duchess of Cornwall should choose to visit our show.
“She is going to be a very popular visitor.”
This will be Her Royal Highness’s second visit to the Royal Cornwall Show. Her first visit was in 2010 when, with HRH The Prince of Wales, they officiated as joint presidents.
The Prince is patron of the Royal Cornwall Show and has visited six times, in 1970, 1977, 1984, 1996, 2002 and 2010.
