Cornwall College students were given a special lecture by Finisterre founder Tom Kay recently.
Kay addressed BA Business and Enterprise students, as well as students from the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy (PJEA), at the Camborne campus.
Kay, who started the St Agnes-based clothing company Finisterre out of his bedroom, said: “I think it’s really important to engage students in business at this age. This type of entrepreneurial training is so much more accessible these days and if Finisterre can help develop their skills we will.”
Bryan Mills, curriculum area manager for business, enterprise and IT at Cornwall College, added: “Finisterre’s business model, products and brand are really inspirational. It was a real help to our students to be able to learn these things from Tom first hand.”
