Alessandro Sidoli, a graduate recruit of Purnells Insolvency Practitioners in Mullion, has achieved his Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency qualification (CPI).

Sidoli has been studying for the qualification for the past 12 months. The syllabus covers all the main areas within insolvency, including liquidation, administration, voluntary arrangement and bankruptcy.

The CPI exam is notoriously difficult to achieve, and often takes candidates a number of attempts to gain the qualification.

Purnells managing director, Chris Parkman, said: “Alessandro has worked extremely hard for this exam and we are all very pleased that he has managed to pass it on his first attempt.”

Sidoli will now continue to study for his JIEB qualification, which will allow him to apply for his Insolvency Practitioners Licence.
