The former MacGregor Yacht premises in Penryn, known as South West Boatyard, have been sold to the A&P Group.
Barnaby Peters, from Scott Burridge Commercial, which marketed the 20,000 sq ft premises, said: “South West Boatyard is one of the town’s largest industrial units and one of the few waterside properties in the Falmouth/Penryn area.
“These properties rarely come to the open market and despite the current economic conditions we experienced good levels of interest in the premises, partly due to its rarity.”
The sale was achieved off a guide price of £1.25million, the site being predominantly held freehold plus a leasehold interest on the foreshore area.
