A local businessman who refuses to retire has celebrated his 80th birthday with former work colleagues spanning a 50-year period.
Marshall Heller of St Neot-based LM & EE Heller Plant Hire started his career in forestry work and progressed to poultry farming and agricultural contracting and later to heavy plant hire. He and his team worked for many years for the local Council (now Cormac), China Clay Works and private clients.
Refusing to put his feet up, his interests have moved to buying and improving farmland for rental. His latest love is collecting and restoring Massey Ferguson vintage tractors and implements and boasts a collection of over 100 pieces.
At 80, Marshall Heller amazingly continues to put in a full days’ work.
