Carn Brea Leisure Centre has teamed up with Smart Savings, a local not-for-profit company that provides ethical finances services and training.
Carn Brea Leisure Centre will be providing facilities to enable Smart Savings to offer drop-in clinics, workshops and training on personal finance matters to help the local community.
Jane Opie, chief executive of Smart Savings said, “We are delighted to partner with Carn Brea Leisure Centre. The leisure centre’s conference facilities will provide the perfect informal and energising environment for our free personal finance training and one-to-one meetings. Our partnership will enable Smart Savings to help more people that need urgent financial help in Cornwall.”
Alex Clifton, Carn Brea Leisure Centre manager, added: “We are pleased to be able to support a company such as Smart Savings that like ourselves has charitable and ethical aims to benefit the local community. Our new partnership is an exciting opportunity to help people in a health and finance related way, which will result in reducing debt and therefore stress.”
