Pendennis Shipyard has won the contract to complete the world’s largest cruising catamaran.

The Hemisphere has arrived in Falmouth, ahead of her final fit out at local superyacht yard. The yacht arrived into port on a container ship, before being off loaded, moored at Port Pendennis Marina where she will stay until being transferred into Pendennis to start the completion process.

The yard recently won the contract to complete the catamaran, which is 44m in length and has an impressive beam of 16m. The project will be the first to utilise the company’s new outer covered dry dock when it is moved into the yard at the end of November.

Gavin Bladen, Captain of Hemisphere commented “The Hemisphere team is really pleased to be bringing the yacht to Falmouth and working with Pendennis. We have been very impressed with both their facilities and the skills of their in-house trades people and are looking forward to completing the yacht with them.”
