Britain’s most hated taxes revealed

According to new research, council tax has replaced fuel duty as the UK’s most resented tax.

Last year council tax was Britain’s second most-hated tax, but perhaps somewhat surprisingly, this year pushes fuel duty down to third place, with the TV licence fee moving up one place to two.

The survey was carried out by professional advice website Unbiased.co.uk.
