·    Record Keeping – bank reconciliations, filing, invoicing and basic checks
·    VAT – registration levels, schemes and how to complete a VAT return

·    Computerised records with practical demonstrations of Excel, Sage and Quickbooks
·    Business planning and commercial advice
There will also be workstations with Hodgsons experts ready to give individual advice and further information on the subjects above.

Peter Hodgson, Senior Partner at Hodgsons said: “Every year we receive several hundred sets of records from businesses with common mistakes, which could easily be avoided with a basic knowledge of how to prepare them. If they can put the mistakes right before they come to us they will save money and have more control over their business. Our recent workshops have all been oversubscribed so early booking is strongly recommended.”

The workshop is free to both Hodgsons existing clients and anyone else needing advice on how to keep their business accounts up to date. The workshop will take place at Falmouth AFC, Bickland Park, in Falmouth between 12.00pm and 6.30pm.’ Places are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
