Cornwall Marine Network has a new and exciting opportunity to join our Clusters ESF Project Manager and team to become the Business Skills Adviser Executive to small businesses on the ESF Clusters project.

As a Business Skills Adviser Executive, you will proactively engage with SME employers across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to undertake assessments of their current and emerging skills and training needs and identify and propose training solutions.

You will work closely with colleagues to support the ESF Business Clusters capacity building project to better develop the skills support to employers available in Cornwall.

Duties will include impartial advice to employers and creating Company Training Plans; supporting employers with Apprenticeship vacancies; responding to skills enquiries from employers; representing CMN at meetings and sharing progress to inform project reports. You will promote CMN’s extensive range of skills training funded and commercial programmes to local employers.

Competitive Salary, subject to experience. Training and resources will be available to support you in this role.

Full-time option 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract, and Company Pension Scheme. We are also interested to hear from applicants who prefer to work part-time, also on permanent contracts.
