Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is delighted to have welcomed some key local businesses to its 2022 Business Club and still has space for more.

Imerys, May Whetter and Grose, Happy Days Nurseries, Acorn Blue and Big Box Advertising are among the list of  businesses that have recently joined the charity’s Business Club, now in its second year.

CHSW is looking for businesses from across Cornwall and Plymouth to join and benefit from the various opportunities to build connections and raise business profile while also supporting a charity caring for local children and families.

Mike Bee, Director of Big Box Advertising and member of the CHSW Business Club for a second year, said his company had no hesitations about joining the CHSW Business Club.

“It was a way we could support CHSW while also promoting our own business,” he said.

“We gained new business from contacts we made which was absolutely fantastic; I would thoroughly recommend joining.”

Bernadette Chambers, Area Fundraiser for CHSW said: “Membership not only provides opportunities to raise your business’ profile at exclusive networking events, and enhance your social media exposure, but will also impact positively on staff morale and contribute to meeting your corporate social responsibility objectives.”

The Club was set up in 2021 when businesses were in a state of flux and it provided opportunities to continue to network while supporting a local charity also navigating its way through the uncertainty of the pandemic.

Joining the CHSW Business Club costs £300 and provides a year of opportunities, as well as the knowledge that your business is part of a family of supporters ensuring CHSW is there for local families now and in the future.
