Oh So Social is an international multi-award winning social media and digital marketing agency.
A dedicated team of specialists, at Oh So Social we have a genuine love for all things social media and beyond. We take pride in using our expertise to write great content, design unique advertising and offer tailored training sessions to both teams and individuals.
We work with organisations in an impressive breadth of industries and provide services across the board of digital marketing, including social media management, marketing consultancy, design, copywriting and PPC to name a few.
Business Cornwall: Why was the business founded?
Tired of seeing half-hearted and ill-informed social media marketing efforts, Director Katherine George founded Oh So Social with a determination to create an agency that could pride itself on being the best at what it does.
On launching, Oh So Social was the first agency to specialise solely on social media. Now one of only 8 Facebook Blueprint Lead Trainers, one of 24 Facebook and Instagram accredited #SheMeansBusiness mentors and having been named one of the UK’s Top Six Marketing Advisors by Enterprise Nation, Katherine has become one of the UK’s leading voices on social media marketing thanks to her determination to be the very best.
Business Cornwall: How does the business compare to competitors in the industry?
At Oh So Social we don’t just love what we do, we also love where we live. We’re a Cornish business that trades across the world and we believe in supporting Cornwall wherever possible, with Katherine actively supporting South West women in business via #SheMeansBusiness events.
Katherine also supports the local community by speaking at schools, colleges and universities about careers and opportunities in Cornwall, and we make a conscious effort to help local charities and events.
But what truly sets us apart from other agencies is our honest, friendly and straightforward approach. We make it our mission to not baffle anyone with unnecessary jargon and do our best to make sure that everything we do is accessible, so clients know exactly what they’re getting.
Business Cornwall: What are the business’s plans both short-term and long-term?
As a company, our short-term goals are to continue to give our clients consistently great services, making full use of our remote working systems that have allowed us to work without issues throughout the pandemic.
In the long-term we plan to further utilise our specialist knowledge across the team, offering the best digital marketing services to organisations across the nation and further afar.
