To date, Natural Generation, which has recently opened an office in Bristol, has installed over 100MW of solar and wind and now provides a full range of operations and maintenance services for renewable energy systems.

Natural Generation’s team of field engineers, who are on call every day of the year, including weekends when there are people on stand-by, are fully trained and include technicians who are HV trained and certified to work at height.
Services for turbines and solar parks include full reports with photographic evidence taken during the service and on-site app reporting meaning updates are sent to the customer pretty much straight away when the service is finished.
Natural Generation’s fleet of vans is fully equipped with all the kit technicians might need on site and technicians use the latest infrared camera equipment and IV curve testing to ensure all panels on solar and electrical connections are functioning properly.
In the office, Natural Generation’s in-house asset management team monitor and co-ordinate O&M. The team have a close working relationship with all major solar and wind suppliers meaning they can get their hands on any spares very quickly.
Thomson adds: “Our comprehensive solar park maintenance packages include regular inspections where we check the panels and everything including the grounds, (your fencing, the grass and checking for any shade creeping in for example), the PV modules and mounting structures, the electric boards and much more. For wind we’re ready for regular inspections and checks to make sure turbines are operating safely and efficiently. As soon as the inspection is over we’ll email a report using our bespoke software.”
If something goes wrong and your turbine or solar goes down we’ll have you back up and running in the shortest time possible.
