There is still time to get your entry in to this year’s Cornwall Business Awards.
Nominations for the awards, which are being run by the Cornwall Development Company (CDC), in partnership with Business Cornwall magazine and Cornwall Chamber, close at midnight on March 17.
Any business based in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly can enter one or more of the 14 award categories, which include Best New Business in Cornwall and Best Use of Superfast Broadband. A new award category this year is Best Family Business.
For this year’s awards, some previous winners will be joining the judging panel. This includes Rachel Jones (Fit ‘N’ Fun Kids), Sarah Trethowan (TRAC Services), Lucy Jewson (Frugi) and Angus Clark (TJ International).
CDC chief executive, Sarah Bond, said: “For the first time, the winners will be selected partly by peers in the business community. These judges can draw from their own experiences to identify the worthy winners and we are hoping to see a surge of new entrants this year.”
The awards will be presented at a ceremony at St Mellion International on May 16, one of the highlights of this year’s Cornwall Business Week.
Former bmibaby MD, Dr David Bryon, has been confirmed as guest speaker at the awards.
